The Industrial Design program focuses on developing strong conceptual and formal design skills. Students are engaged in the theory, process, and practice of design throughout the undergraduate and graduate curriculums. The Industrial Design program is consistently ranked amongst the top programs in the nation for undergraduate and graduate study.

We are seeking candidates who are well-rounded designers and educators with significant teaching and professional experience. Demonstrated technical skills such as visualization, communication, modeling and prototyping common in design practice in both professional and student work is important. Candidates should be qualified to teach throughout the Industrial Design curriculum. Expectations include teaching graduate and/or undergraduate studio and lecture courses; teaching a full load of four courses per term; participating in innovative teaching and curriculum development; rendering service to the program and school; career advising and mentoring undergraduate and graduate student
