The Assistant Director for Future Faculty Development will develop, implement, and sustain programming that supports graduate students (GS) and postdoctoral scholars (PS) by participating in the Center for the Integration of Research Teaching and Learning at UCLA (CIRTL @UCLA) program. Responsibilities are to implement and expand the Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning (CIRTL@UCLA) program, advance the certification process and engagement pathways and support GS/PS holistic professional development. These efforts include teaching CIRTL in person and online courses, delivering instructional materials to support student participation in CIRTL programming, as well as creating and supporting learning communities focused on professional development opportunities that will better prepare UCLA graduate students and postdoctoral scholars for the STEM workforce.
