The Department of Chemistry in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences invites applications for a full-time position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor. This position is renewable for up to two years with successful evaluation by the department (AYs 2023-2024 and 2024-2025). The primary instructional responsibilities will be general chemistry and courses in the applicant’s area of expertise. Additional responsibilities include mentoring of undergraduate student research.

Qualifications: A Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry from an accredited college/university is required; ABD candidates will be considered at the instructor rank until the completion of degree.
