The Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL), a network of 45 research universities across the US and Canada is searching for a new Associate Director. This remote-eligible position is based at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, one of the nation’s premiere public research universities. The Associate Director works closely with the CIRTL Director and Leadership Team and a core team of CIRTL staff to help grow and support a Network dedicated to improving and diversifying STEM undergraduate education.

The CIRTL Associate Director is responsible for managing the CIRTL Network including overseeing a central staff and assisting in operations of the Network and in the coordination of the Cross-Network Learning Community. The Associate Director manages the finances of CIRTL, helps develop and implement Network policies, serves on committees and working groups, presents at Network-wide meetings and occasional national venues, among other tasks. A key role of the Associate Director is working with the Membership Operations Group to maintain and build Network membership, providing support for new and current members as they build their local learning communities and serving as a central point of contact to facilitate connections across the Network.
