Alice L. Walton School of Medicine (AWSOM) is seeking experienced, motivated, and dedicated educators to participate in the design and delivery of an innovative four-year medical school curriculum that engages medical students in active learning. We are currently looking for faculty in Anatomy, Genetics, Pharmacology, Physiology, Neuroscience and Microbiology/Immunology.
These are full-time, non-tenure track foundational sciences educator positions, open to any rank. The faculty member will collaborate with other clinical and basic science faculty to develop an integrated curriculum and will participate in the development and review of formative and summative assessment items.
Currently, the School of Medicine seeks to be a national medical school with the goal of welcoming its inaugural class in 2025, pending programmatic and institutional accreditation.
