Stonewood Community Project Inc. (“Stonewood”) is seeking a creative and engaging leader who is passionate about our mission to address food insecurities in our community. The ideal candidate is an articulate thought leader who can motivate and energize various stakeholders to support the organization’s community outreach as we move our startup into the next phase of growth.
About Stonewood: We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization with a charitable and educational mission, doing business as Stonewood Farm. This mission centers on our certified organic market garden in Millbrook, New York. We expand access to local organic produce through weekly donations to our First Harvest Pantry at Lyall Memorial Church and to our local chapter of Meals on Wheels. We provide aspiring farmers with access to land and learning opportunities, thereby supporting the next generation of agricultural entrepreneurs. And we offer opportunities for authentic connection between Stonewood and our community. To support our community outreach programs, we host on-farm dinners, volunteer days, and cooking classes throughout the growing season that offer immersive experiences.
