Reporting to the Director of Academic Affairs, this position will contribute to implementing, analyzing, and reporting evaluation and assessment projects targeting teaching and learning initiatives at the course, program, and school level for residential and online learning. This individual will be responsible for assessments involving students, faculty, alumni, and employers. They will collaborate with the Institutional Research Analyst to develop reports and recommendations for leadership. The Academic Affairs Program Manager will contribute significantly towards YSPH’s culture of evidence-based decision-making.

Working closely with the Director of Online and Certificate Education for this work, the Academic Affairs Program Manager will help support all facets of new and existing online and non-degree initiatives at YSPH through their instructional design skills, passion for excellence, teamwork, and enthusiasm for teaching and learning. They will act as a project leader for the instructional design process of online educational programs. They will support the development and implementation of new educational programs, which could be degree or non-degree bearing and residential, online, or hybrid.

Develop the metrics to identify and measure the success of YSPH educational programs. Assist the Director of Academic Affairs in the development of new initiatives to monitor the effectiveness of YSPH educational programs and implement short- and long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of these programs. Builds and maintains a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the educational programs and to identify areas for improvement. Acts as a project leader for the instructional design process for online and non-degree projects at YSPH. Identifies and suggests pedagogic and technological approaches for online programs. Develop and provide training on the usage of instructional technologies and other software and hardware to support online learning at YSPH. Assisting instructors with the development and maintenance of course website elements for online and degree programs. Working collaboratively with other members of the Academic Affairs team to support the creation and development of new educational programs as opportunities arise. Manages assigned project tasks to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes and provides regular status reports on assigned projects. Performs other duties as assigned
