This interactive session introduces a practical framework for redesigning assessments in the age of AI by shifting the focus from answer generation to evidence, reasoning, decision-making, and reflection. Through examples from multiple disciplines, participants will explore practical strategies for redesigning existing assessments while maintaining alignment with course learning outcomes. This workshop will provide attendees with actionable ideas they can immediately apply in their own teaching. By the end of this workshop, participants will be prepared to:

• Identify opportunities to redesign assessments for deeper learning in the age of AI.
• Apply a practical framework to redesign an assessment from your own teaching context.
• Reflect on how assessment design can better promote evidence, reasoning, decision-making, and reflection in student learning.
• Distinguish between answer-focused and thinking-focused assessments.
